June to September: from 10 AM to 7 PM, open every day.
October to May: from 10 AM to 6 PM, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, except by prior reservation.
Access and Activities
Entry to the park is free, but all activities, pool, and services have associated costs.
We do not guarantee the availability of activities without prior booking.
Activities follow the daily schedules, posted at the reception.
All activities are supervised by qualified instructors.
For reasons beyond our control (technical, weather-related, or others), activities may be suspended or schedules changed without prior notice, with no right to a refund.
Failure to comply with safety rules or the instructors’ instructions may result in refusal to participate in the activity.
Some activities have access restrictions (height, age, physical condition, or health).
Cova da Baleia is not responsible for accidents resulting from non-compliance with safety rules.
The use of appropriate sports clothing and footwear is mandatory.
Cova da Baleia is equipped for people with reduced mobility. Please contact us in advance to arrange activities.
Animals on a leash are allowed, except in the pool area. Dangerous dog breeds must wear a muzzle.
Cova da Baleia is not responsible for damage to and/or theft of belongings on its premises.
Some services may have different hours than the park. Please check at the reception.
NOT ALLOWED
Entry of sun umbrellas and chairs is not allowed.
Entry with coolers is not allowed.
Entry with alcoholic beverages is not allowed.
Entry with food is not allowed, except for reservations previously agreed upon (parties, farewells, schools, groups, etc.).
Picnics must be done in the bar/terrace area.
No entry for individuals who do not guarantee hygiene or safety, or who show signs of intoxication or drug use.
No entry for users with contagious diseases, open or unhealed wounds.
No entry for children under 12 years old without adult supervision. The adult is responsible for the child and any damage caused.
Use of remote-controlled toys or drones is prohibited.
No entry with glass bottles, cans, or sharp objects.
No entry into the water wearing inappropriate clothing (T-shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, etc.).
No access for unauthorized persons to restricted areas.
Smoking only in designated areas.
Do not throw trash outside the bins.
Any behavior that puts the safety of users at risk is forbidden.
MANDATORY
Aggressive or disrespectful behavior towards staff or visitors will not be tolerated. In case of incident, the person will be removed from the park and, if necessary, authorities will be called. Examples of prohibited behaviors:
Intimidation
Abusive behavior
Possession of weapons
Personal insults
Defamation
Harassment
Any unwanted physical contact
Parking is free and follows the rules of the highway code.
It is recommended not to leave valuables inside the vehicles.
